You can find explosive flasks, acid flasks, and shock flasks. These are also in line with craftables in the main game. You can find throwing stars and flasks with various elemental properties. You’ll still be looting enemies and chests, although they’re the old-timey dungeon chests now. Zombies naturally don’t carry weapons, but the skeletons do, so you’ll never be hurting for weaponry in Hellraid. There are couple of swords, a couple of blunt weapons, and a small and giant ax. You’ll be fighting them with a few new weapons, although these are very similar to what you’re familiar with. Some zombies and skeletons have mage variants that throw various spells at you, such as fire and acid. Then you’ve got skeletons, which appear to use the human AI. These behave just like they do in the main game. The enemies consist of re-skinned zombies, including the regular ones, virals, and those big guys that knock you over when they hit you. You’ll need to battle your way through three floors in order to get to them. You want to find the three Clavis Stones and place them at the end of the dungeon to unlock the treasure vault. You simply pull a lever to open a grate in the floor and then drop down. Interacting with the machine will transport you to a dungeon. Selecting it will give you a quest marker leading to The Tower in Harran, where a mysterious arcade machine is now present right behind the Bozak poster. Once you’ve got the DLC installed, you’ll simply see it in the quest window under the Bozak Horde. Hellraid doesn’t have any flashy intro or big quest show up in the main game. But the question stands: is it worth it? Thy Dungeonman As of today, you can purchase the Hellraid DLC for $9.99. Instead of leaving those ideas to rot, they’ve decided to release a short piece of content in Dying Light inspired by that game. Hellraid was a game they were working on that got put on indefinite hiatus. Despite that, it’s been a long while since they put out a substantial piece of DLC. The free update and fresh Story Mode for Dying Light: Hellraid should be a good way to pass the time as we continue to wait for the release of Dying Light 2 later this year. Dying Light: Hellraid may have launched in August 2020, but this latest update makes for a refreshing chunk of new content to be explored for the low price of free. With the update, players will experience overhauled lighting systems, environmental audio, and other quality-of-life improvements to make all of your encounters in both Story Mode and the original Raid Mode all the more exciting and immersive. In addition to the free content coming with the Story Mode, weapons, enemies, and locations, the latest update to the Dying Light: Hellraid DLC features technical improvements as well. There will also be new locations and fresh enemies along the way. ![]() Along the way, new weapons await, such as Hellraid’s first long range weapon in the Corrupted Justice bow. Players will venture into the demonic Ba’al’s Temple in order to save a mage known as Lucius. Available to those who own Dying Light plus its Hellraid DLC at no extra cost, this update expands the content of the Hellraid DLC with three new questlines to go with it. Techland announced the free update to Dying Light: Hellraid with a new trailer on the Dying Light YouTube channel on June 7, 2021. Starting today, Dying Light: Hellraid players can explore new weapons, technical enhancements, and an all-new Story Mode full of fresh quests in a free update. Having launched in August 2020, players have had plenty of time to learn its secrets, but Techland is changing the game up. It introduced a medieval fantasy gothic romp in which players slashed their way through monsters in a castle. Dying Light: Hellraid was an interesting addition to the overall content of Dying Light as a whole.
